Chris Romay has been a racing enthusiast since an early age going to F1 and Indycar races in Long Beach, California. I’ve since moved to Austin, Texas just down the highway from Circuit of the Americas, which is host to an annual F1 and NASCAR race. I love the thrill of competition and played a multitude of sports throughout my youth. As an adult I have channelled my competitive nature and love of sports into analyzing and handicapping betting markets with my specialty being the NASCAR Cup series. I have a Finance degree from Texas A&M University and utilize a data driven approach taking into account important metrics, such as speed analytics, track types and engine packages with the goal of finding +EV (expected value) matchups and other racing props to wager on. Due to the randomness and volatility in NASCAR racing, I will not turn a profit each race weekend, however, the goal is to achieve long term profitability and positive ROI (return on investment) at the end of each season.
